Iran: New chastity patrols in the streets of Tehran

"the State Security Forces – mullahs' suppressive police – has added to its chastity patrols to control what it called "immoral behavior."
The patrols would stop women on their way to watch the show to check what they wear to the event.

The women and youth,as well as the elderly are usually the ones who get pushed around the most. That regime is always looking for new ways to suppress them, especially the women, it's so sad.

She does write some great stuff-- but she rarely ventures outside of her column. Perhaps we should invite her to join this discussion? (For anyone reading this who is unfamilar with Summers' writing re the Iranian resistance, by all means check out her NV column)
