Hamas confirms executing Fatah collaborators

advertisement

"The Palestinian Authority's Minister of Social Welfare Affairs, Mahmoud Habbash, accused Hamas on Wednesday of confiscating 63 trucks loaded with humanitarian aid while they were on their way to the UN Relief and Works Agency in Gaza.

He also confirmed that Hamas had been torturing and executing Fatah members in the Gaza Strip during and after Operation Cast Lead. Nineteen Palestinians were murdered in cold blood by Hamas, Habbash said, while more than 60 others were shot in the legs.

However, Musa Abu Marzouk, a top Hamas official in Syria, confirmed that his movement had executed "collaborators" during the war. He claimed that Fatah members had taken to the streets to blow kisses at IAF planes and handed out candies as they attacked Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip.

WTF?

I have long suspected Fatah was nothing more than a Zionist plot.( the clues were many indeed,if you have an eye willing to see) 72 Olympics ? the wreck of the Edmond Fitzgerald ? new Coke ?..need I go on

Since this information has been made public, and after extensive Qur'anic research on the part of a fundamentalist Islamic, Islamist, Jihadist, "think tank" organization.

"Islamic jihad"( the Palestinian terrorist group, not to be confused with ongoing {islamic jihad} against all infidels) is now claiming that "Hamas itself, is just a Zionist front", designed to corrupt the people of Palestine and lead them from their sacred mission to rid the middle east and "Allah willing",the whole world of the Jews.

(ps) please read your hadiths all of this made very is clear.

Actually, I must admit it-- I have been somewhat negligent as of late.

I have fallen behind in my reading of the Hadiths-- peace be upon them!

Ah,but the hadiths are so helpful filling in the gaps in the Qur'an.There are so many contradictions within it's pages it's the only way to understand what is abrogated or not.

see what the verse of the sword abrogated ? no compulsion to religion, perhaps ?

now under threat of the dreaded "Islamophbic" label. I hate to see other newsvine members get their panties in a bunch (LOL) some tend to violate the CoH at the mere mention of such "heresy" but in the spirit of, "get smarter here"

Sahih Muslim 6985

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him)

so Allah's Messenger "Mohammad" said: with no apparent anti-semitism(Jew hatred) intended ?

as saying: The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews.

http://worldknightboy.newsvine.com/_news/2009/06/09/2910838-youtube-cair-caught-selling-jihadist-anti-judeo-christian-books-to-public at the end of this video is a little boy reciting the linked hadith.

I will go out on a limb here, and clearly state this does not foster peace, love nor a better understanding between differing groups of humans.Iwill call it genocidal in nature.

the Gharqad is the tree of the Jews,Allah said so..So whats he got against the Irish Celts why don't we get a Tree. I want one, Damn it. I would take a nice red Maple or perhaps a Birch if they were available.

but all trees are "muslim" trees, but one tree is for the Jews

this Allah "dude" is a racist bastard if you ask me.

You may have a point there-- at the very least it would appear that he was a pederast...

But all that hatred toward the kufr ("non-believers")...seems rather inflammatory, to say the least...?

One problem with the Hadiths is that there are so very many of them. Also, even various groups of Muslims disagree on which ones to accept.

And, I don't think a lot of them have even been translated into English. I guess devout Muslims prefer to read them in the original language, as with the Qur'an.

I beleive most Muslims claim that the Koran cannot be understaood except in the original Arabic (this is often offered as a defense when people quote English translations of some of the more racist parts :)

I read a couple of reports of Hamas shooting Fatah members ("suspected collaborators") as well as breaking their hands.

Somehow I have problems visualising Fatah members blowing kisses at IAF planes and handing out candies during hostilities...

Hamas militiamen have been intercepting aid convoys and confiscating food and medical supplies, he claimed. Some Hamas officials had laid their hands on the aid and were selling them.

The minister said his office had received hundreds of complaints from Palestinians in the Gaza Strip about the confiscation of humanitarian aid.

"The people in the Gaza Strip have fallen between the Israeli hammer, which does not distinguish between human beings, animals and trees, and the Hamas anvil, which is depriving thousands of families of the international aid," he said.

Another report of Hamas theiving aid supplies. Unsurprising.

All the citizens of Gaza are not the problem-- in fact, many are themselves victims of Hamas' violence: Palestinian victims of Hamas swear revenge

Hamas is the problem.

I used to think that would be helpful. But, I'm afraid it wouldn't work, for a number of reassons.

For starters, Hamas is in charge-- and they want to act violently vs their enemies (or perceived enemies)-- putting peacekeepers there to control their violence would not be to their liking!

In addition-- Hamas is extremely brutal-- and they might well turn their violence towards the peacekeeepers-- I would imagine most countries wouldn't want their troops top face that sort of violence-- and torture.

Many people in the west are unaware of who Hamas is-- and what their motivation really is-- they are not merely another "faction" vying for power. Here's an excellent short video that explains:

The root causes of the Gaza conflict in less than 6 minutes (video)

You may be right krishna-167929 about the peacekeepers becoming targets. Perhaps Palestinians in Gaza will vote in new leadership that is receptive to international peacekeepers that can and will help the Palestinians hold Hamas accountable -- assuming Hamas allows free elections.

Apparently the majority of Gazans did in the last elections. One reason is that despite its terrorism, Hamas had provided some humanitarian aid to the Palestinians.

Do you think the majority of Gazans support Hamas now, given their difficulties which are arguably due to Hamas's harsh words and rocket attacks against Israel?

I don't understand. Haven't Palestinians been the beneficiaries of quite a bit of international humanitarian aid for several decades, but they haven't received it because of their leadership?

Here from a 2007 article describing aid to Palestinians despite the boycott of Hamas:

In the past year, the Palestinians received more than $1.2 billion, compared to $1 billion in 2005, according to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, or OCHA.

That does not include monetary and other assistance from Iran and Arab countries.

From a 2007 NY Times article:

"These numbers are quite stunning," said Alexander Costy, head of coordination for Álvaro de Soto, the United Nations special Middle East envoy, "given the relatively small size of the population of the Palestinian territory."

He added: "What we do know for sure is that Palestinians, and their economy and society, are becoming increasingly dependent on humanitarian handouts, and this dependency is growing fast. For a state in the making, I think this was a step backwards in 2006 and a cause for alarm."

Seems that in 2009 aid pledges have massively increased, with promises of $4.5 Billion just from the Red Sea conference in Egypt, but, according to this article from Al Jazeera :

Many economic analysts say Arab donors are reluctant to pay up because of Palestinian infighting between the Fatah faction of Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian president, which controls the West Bank, and Hamas, which overran Gaza two years ago.

That's a good question.

If an election were to be held today (including , of course, both Gaza and the West Bank)...would Hamas win? I don't know. (I've seen articles saying that their support was decreasing...but I don't know the percentages).

There are also some Palestinains who do want peace, but are totally disgusted with both Hamas (because of their extremism-- both in provoking Israel, which they know will cause severe retaliation-- in fact, that may well be part of Hamas' strategy...) and disgusted with Abbas' Fatsah (because they have been so corrupt). But to some, there doesn't seem to be a third alternative.

And, btw, Fatah's attitude is less belligerent-- they are not attacking Israel-- and unlike the Hamas run Gaza, the situation under Fatah control in the West Bank is quite different:

Exactly.

In fact, for years the Palestinians received more aid per capita than any other country/group on earth! (When you see those pictures of enmaciated African babies literally dying of lack of food, reralize that their countries don't receive even a fraction of the aid the Palis get).

Of course there were some who benefited from the aid.
