Fascinating-- and the article is accompanied by some wonderful photos as well
Very impressive-- the article actually made me consider going to see some of them!
Yes -- I would like to see all of them, especially Chernobyl. It would be like going to Halloween "spook houses" on a grand scale.

Strangely enough, I 've had the same thought. A gruesome story-- yet it holds a kind of morbid fascination....
The amusement rides are just creepy enough to make a trip worthwhile.
For lovers of unusual places, there's also always Socotra:
"Socotra Island: you have to see it to believe it
We covered some other wordly places before but this island simply blows away any notion about what is considered "normal" for a landscape on Earth.
Though not officially a "ghost town" b/c some ppl still live there, i'm surprised this place isn't on the list.
Centralia, Pennsylvania.

Called the real silent hill, (like the video game) its pretty crazy and eerie what went down here.
Wow!
Thanks for that link :)
(Not a place I'd like to visit-- but its a fascinating, though tragic story-- & it definitely would be classified as a "ghost town")>
