What's this?
Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

What doesn't get reported very often is that dozens of the home made rockets don't actually make it over the Gaza fence to blow up in Israel. Instead, they careen crazily out of control and crash down on hapless Palestinians in northern Gaza.

Faked?

Hardly.

These are not from an Israeli source, but rather from Palestine Today-- a Palestinian source!

Now why would you think that Palestine today would publish zionist propaganda? (Unless, of course, it wasn't propaganda-- and those puictres aren't faked...)

One can only feel sympathy for the average citizen of Gaza-- subject as they are to Hamas violence-- and occasionally being murdered by Hamas missiles:

Palestinian rocket accidentally kills 2 young Gaza girls
A projectile fired by Palestinians fell short of its target in Israel on Friday, striking a house in northern Gaza and killing two schoolgirls.

The Palestinians make their own lot in life. There seems to be plenty to go around. The screaming poor and starving is just a load of crap to get world attention placed on them. When the world should be expecting them to make peace, the continue to make war.

These people need competent leadership, and all they get are thugs. There will never be peace in this region so long as the PA and Hamas are in power.

There was a time when things were even better-- daily many Palestinians would cross the border to work at some decent jobs in Israel.

But then the Israelis, meanies that they are, ended that-- and closed the border. Just to be mean!

And further back-- many Palestinians used to work in the oil industry in the Gulf states-- and send money back home. But then they were kicked out ...sheer unfairness on the part of several Gulf states..they were just being nasty 'ole meanies..for no reason of course...

The world has been so unfair to the Palestinians...but its not their fault.

    Ok-- let's talk about that.

1-They used to work in Israel, crossing the border from Gaza daily. Why did this stop?
2-They used to work in the oil industry in the Gulf states, sending home some nice paychecks. Why was this stopped?
3-In addition, for years the Palestinians received the highest aid opercapita of any country in earth! Yup-- much more than those starbving African countries-- the ones where you see photos of starving emaciated kids with their bones poking at their skin. And, the only reason they aren't in th top spot is that diues to al,l the $ the US spends there, Iraq took #1. But-- how come, if thy got all that aid-- they aren't better off?

OK-- I did my part-- I posed the relevant questions. Now its your turn-- you now have a golden opportunity to stop the personal attacks-- and add something useful to the discussion-- answer those three questions.

my posting of pictures from time magazine on the aftermath of operation cast lead is intented to refute the claim made here with Gaza pictures in this seed as a happy go round place as falsly shown. In fact I have seen these pictures several times posted with the exact same article and websites quoted all made up too look good - basically nothing but distarction tactics to the real issues and problems of people of gaza

Regarding Israel Strikes Gaza after Rocket Attacks i have the following

Think about it- why would the Palestiniens in Gaza do this when they are just struggling to barely survive. Most of the rocket attacks in reality are setup by the israel'is as fake alarms. Infact there are agents set-up within the terrotories used to launch toy rockets at israel by isreali agents - just like the other day one was reported to training himself to attach a bomb to a car in west bank. The reality is that every now and then Israel launches harassing military strikes around gaza with warplanes just to drive the people out of their lands and eventually occupy the land again to build more settlements on a greater israel.

Here is some more report of attrocities by israel on Gazans in The Independent of UK

    http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/middle-east/israeli-soldiers-reveal-the-brutal-truth-of-gaza-attack-1746485.html

Israeli soldiers reveal the brutal truth of Gaza attack Troops' testimonies disclose loose rules of engagement and use of civilians as human shields. Palestinian houses were systematically destroyed by 'insane artillery firepower'

    That is a total falsehood.

Israel ended the occupation of Gaza in 2005. All the settlements in Gaza-- that were supposedly a "permanent obstacle to peace' were destroyed.

    Every single one.

And-- there hasn't been a single Jewish settlement-- even a single house-- built in Gaza since then. Why? Because, quite simply-- there isn't a single Jew living in the entire place!!!

    LOL.
    I think that's a factor.
However, i think another factor is simple this. Many citizens of many Arab countries are kept in misrable conditions. Normally that would eventualy result in anger at their rulers. The rulers know this-- and of course the #1 goal of any tyrant is to stay in power. So-- they devote a grea deal of effort in demonizing Israel-- in an attemopt to channel their peoples' anger away from the ruklers. A classical case of creating a scape goat. And it works!

Caught between the proverbial rock and hard place; free nations of the world have to stand up to terrorism and support the subjugated citizens in terrorist states at the same time. How do we help to pull the curtain away from these rulers so the citizens in these countries see them for the tyrannical powers they are. For one thing, we have to start supporting the dissent within. We should have boisterously stood up for the people in Iran who sure could have used our help this fall. Then there are the cases where the citizens are seemingly ardent supporters of governments that promote terrorism. I don't know. I do know that appeasement and ignoring situations does not work.

Some of them could lighten up a bit, and perhaps have a nice Danish ham sandwich and a cold Tuborg.

No doubt the zionist poodles airbrushed the rats out of the pictures! Typical!

(Ok-- this time I won't bore everyone with more videos of zionist poodles :)

Look ateeq, this article was seeded to counter ongoing claims of "starvation" and "genocide" of Arabs in the Gaza Strip at the hands of Israel.

...living good life in bad conditions is hard.

Conditions don't look so bad in the photos, do they? BTW, the phrase is "living well is the best revenge".

Compared to anything else I will beleive the report in Time magazine regarding the suffering of people of Gaza at the hands of Isreali's, more than anything else.

But would tunnels be needed at all if Egypt would allow them access? Would they be suffering if Egypt opened it's borders?

Actually, I'd love to see them all HAPPY-- both the Zionists and the Palestinians!

Of course the barbarians of Hamas are doing their best to ensure the people who live in "Hamastan" (AKA the gaza strip) continue to suffer-- but due to greater Arab-Israeli cooperation in the West Bank, conditions there are improving:

Palestinian President, " We are having a good life. "

Jerusalem Planning Over 5,000 New Arab Housing Units

Conditions Keep Improving for West Bank Palestinians

Blair: Israel not getting enough credit

Growing ties between Israeli and Palestinian police

Luxury Palestinian mall signals transformation of 'terror capital'

And the Lebanese and the Iranians, and...

And that's why Palestine Today posted the photos-- to show the truth about the Palestinians being happy-- and that's why I seeded this link to the Palestine Today photos.

I agree that conditions are not good in Gaza. But compare them to conditions of ther Palis in the West Bank (really-- take a look at some of the links I provided in comment #6.4).

Now-- the big question-- why are conditions so different in the two areas? It almost like two different worlds.

Answer that question, and you will get to the real crux of the matter!

(or should I say the real "crescent" of the matter? :)

I alwaysd find it interesting when someone talks about Israel shutting the border with Gaza-- and totally ignores the Egyptian closure!

The fact is-- even if the Israeli closure were 100% airtight-- if Egypt opened the border to Gaza, the Israeli closure of their border wouldn't have any significant effect-- everything the Gazans wanted (well, except for rockets0 would be able to pass through.
