Not bad-- as far as it goes.

Adding these would probably improve most peoples' diet...but there's lots more to know.

(And-- why didn't they mention the importance of choosing "Omega-3" eggs...for starters. And even better..make 'em "Free Range" and "Organic"..)

But they didn't mention sugar! (Strange, perhaps, as many folks consider it to be one of the 6 basic food groups :-)

Yup-- I'm a big fan of Quinoa myself! (Only organic, of course..and I prefer the red variety).

Not only complete protein, lots of fiber and anti-oxidants-- but has a unique taste that's really great! :-)

They r in the mix... I just don't know where they were mixed into... I looked at my poop and they weren't there... I don't know where they sauntered off to....lol But seriously, if I *ATE* all the "mix", I'd be dead... I like my diet... Grease, chicken, turkey, bread, heart attack, brain aneurysm... yum!!! (sarcasm)

Most nutritionists highly recommend Chicken and Turkey actually (white meat only, of course-- trim the fat-- no klin-- in other words, take away the tastiest parts! :-)

Yeah, nutritionists have no sense of what it means to eat *real* food. lol But, during Thanksgiving and Christmas, I *LOVE, LOVE LOVE* the skin of the turkey... yummy!!!

Only one of them in regular rotation in our household - broccoli. We go through massive amounts. Broccoli and spinach are the two veggies I can count on not having leftovers of.

Mostly all veggies have health benefits-- but those are two of the best! (Some people would call them "wonder foods").

If you eat those, all that's really missing is something red (tomatoes usually) and an orange veggie (carrots, sweet potato..). although I think Spinach has Beta Carotene as well. Plus an "Allium"-- Onions or Garlic.

I couldn't live without my eggs! I eat at least two of them a day. One of my meals is always an egg and cheese sandwich or an omelette. Besides being good for you, they're one of the few foods that actually fill me up and won't leave me hungry again in an hour. And they're easy to make - even I can't screw them up! Well, usually. XD

I love broccoli, too. When I was a kid, I never understood that whole "kids hate broccoli" thing. Were those kids insane? Broccoli is awesome! But just the tops. The stems can go to hell. XD

A while back there was some controversy about eggs because they have cholesterol. But it seems that its now believed that cholesterol in foods doesn't make cholesterol in your body. In other words-- its not a problem. And eggs are full of all sorts of nutrients.

I like the taste if Broccoli too! And as they keep telling us-- its very good for us!
