"In order to build the body you want (the thunderous arms and the rock-hard abs, the lightning-quick brain and the unquenchable libido) you need to make every bite of food you put in your mouth count. That means building your diet around the most potent, nutrient-dense, disease-fighting, muscle-growing foods around.

But where do you start? And what foods are the absolute fittest? To find out, we decided to put some of the nation's top nutritionists to the test.

First, we polled 40 of the country's most respected food experts-registered dietitians, college nutrition

professors, and authors-asking them each: What are the 10 most important foods every guy should include in his diet for maximum fitness? Then, as the results rolled in, we ranked our experts' recommendations.

We not only tell you which foods made the list, but how much of each you should eat on a weekly basis. So read on to see how you can make your diet more fit.

    Basically an excellent list. A few minor criticisms;

    1. For ideal-- everything should be organic whenever possible-- it does make a difference.

    1. Eggs-- fine-- but they should be "Omega 3 eggs" only.

    2. Soy-- some controversy exists here.The latest research indicates it may be OK-- even beneficial-- but in moderation.

    3. Beef-- pros and cons. I think if you work out hard it may be OK-- in moderation. Also- ideally only organic-- and "Grass fed" only !

    4. Salmon-- Amazing they didn't mention it, but it must be "Wild caught" only! And-- in moderation...

    No -- the Beefs are suppposed to eat the Grass-- not the people!

    (The people are supposed to smoke it-- not eat it! :-)

    Beer is not an actual food-- rather, its a "nutritional supplement" :-)

    Was he really elected by the good people if some of his votes were from convicted felons?

    Whew! I feel better about going out for beers and wings tonight. Don't worry about my health, I won't eat any wings. :)

    Maybe you would be absolved from eternal damnation if you had a little tofu with your beer and wings? Lol :-)
